Using iManager: Upload File to Current Working DirectoryThis section (an example is shown below) allows you to select a file that resides on the file system of your computer and upload it to your virtual server. The file is saved under the filename and the pathname that you specify. For example, suppose that you had a file named "test.html" on your computer that you wanted to upload to your Virtual Server. You would first launch an iManager session using a valid login/password pair and specify the directory where you would like the "test.html" file uploaded as the Path Specification. Next select the "Browse" button in the Upload File section. This will lauch a file browser which you will use to select your "test.html" file. After you have selected the file on your computer, you then must specify a Remote Filename. The Remote Filename will be the name that the Local File is stored on the Virtual Server. You may use the same name or specify a different name if you so desire. The file is uploaded and saved in the directory Remote Path which by default is the current working directory. The value for Remote Path may also be changed if you so desire. After you have selected the Local File, given it a Remote Filename, and have specified a Remote Path, select the "Upload File" button... your file will be uploaded to your Virtual Server. If you are uploading a file to a Remote Path which has the substring "cgi-bin" present or if your Remote Filename ends with a ".pl" extension, the upload wizard will ask you if you want to change the mode of the file such that it will have execute privileges (see explanation of the Chmod Wizard). There is a file size limit of 1MB, so if you need to upload a file that is larger than 1MB you should use an FTP client.
